Are we buliding the best "home!"

An elderly carpenter was ready to retire. He told his employer cum contractor of his plan to leave the house buliding business to live a more leisurely life with his wife and enjoy his extenden family. He would miss the paycheck(salary) each week, but he wanted to retire. They could survive.
The contractor was sorry to see his good worker leave. The contractor asked if the worker could buld just one more house as a personal favour. The carpenter agreed, but over time it was easy to see that his heart was not in his work. He resorted to shoddy workmanship and used inferior materials. It was an unfortunate way to end a dedicated career.
As the senior carpenter finished his project, his employer came to inspect the house. Then he handed the front-door key to the carpenter and said. " This is your house.... my gift to you"
The carpenter was shocked!
What a shamed! If he had only known he was buliding his own house, he wpuld have done it all so differently.
So, my fellow friends,...we build our lives a day at a time, often putting less than our best into the building. Then with a shock, we realize we have to live in the house we have built. If we could do it over, we would do it much better and much differently. However, we cannotmgo back. You are the carpenter, and every day yiu hammer a nail, place a board or paint the wall. Someone said, "LIfe is a do-it-yourself project". Your attitude and the choices you make today, help build the "house" you will live in tomorrow. Therefore build wisely and carefully.

SELAMAT DATANG PEMANTAU SPPK

Hari ini 10 Mac 2010, sekolah kita akan didatangi oleh pihak Sektor Pengurusan Pembangunan Kemanusiaan (SPPK), Jabatan Pelajaran Negeri Terengganu. Pasukan ini turut juga memantau beberapa buah sekolah lain di Daerah Hulu Terengganu dan seluruh sekolah-sekolah Negeri Terengganu yang telah bermula semenjak dari awal Febuari lagi. Menurut makluman, pasukan ini akan meninjau perjalanan sekolah terutamanya berkaitan Hal Ehwal Murid dan Kokurikulum sekolah.
SMK Seri Berang yang sering menerima kunjungan sebegini sentiasa mengalu-alukan sebarang lawatan ke sekolah demi penambahbaikan sekolah dan menjadikan sekolah ini lebih cemerlang.
Seluruh warga SMK Seri Berang mengucapkan selamat datang kepada pasukan pemantau SPPK dari Jabatan Pelajaran ini.
